The MMCA is an ink-on-paper monthly mail club composed of creative professionals who value real-life experiences, tangible media, and total excellence.
The mail club is the first dimension within an unfolding new model for funding and distributing creative work independent of algorithmic governance and the prying eyes of tech.
Because we are so certain of the stability of our strategic plan, we will delete all social media once we reach 16,000 club members.

A great thinker whose groundbreaking research is contained in the incomplete research paper "The Mechanistic Corpus: Light and Shadow of Data Analytic Temperament." Despite his mysterious disappearance, he holds an honorary place on the Board. Note: this is an artistic rendering of our best guess as to his likeness.
Filmmaker, writer, and key public-facing representative of the Corporation. The majority of MystiCorp concept and development is generated through her conversations with God. In her free time, she experiments with bas relief plastering and finding the best quality food in the area.
Expert designer, coder, musician and hypnotist, B. heads up the tech department and art direction at MystiCorp. He uses exclusively free and open source software to build our suite of privacy-respecting Web Experiences™ and design all printed ephemera.
The resident self-described "contrarian" of the team, Douglas is independently wealthy, having invested in blockchain genomics in 2017 on a hunch. Because of his experience on the "inside" of web3.0 development, he is especially well-positioned to advise on its hubris.
An expert in emerging artificial intelligence, robotics and smart city developments in Beijing and beyond, Zhao has never been seen in-person by any other members of the Board, but sends all correspondence strictly through fax at strange hours due to increasing paranoia.
A former actress, best-selling author on the art of persuasion, and private investigator hobbyist, Sasha serves on the board as key advisor to human nature and its dynamic terrain of security vulnerabilities through data analytics.
A balinese high priest and chief officiant coordinating water distribution in the highland traditions of the Subak water system, he provides crucial consultation on how to best distribute coordination and produce a collective outcome that no single individual within the Corporation designs or controls. He has also connected us with a premiere source of volcanic coffee in the balinese highlands overseeing crater lake.
Expert in financial cycles and predictive stock analytics, Danu has consulted with several Fortune 500 companies and has graciously offered his advisory services to MystiCorp's new economic model el gratis, simply because he appreciates the playful and electric nature of our approach to wealth-building.
Receive a monthly ink-on-paper dispatch to the address of your choice with updates directly from your colleagues within the club, original literary and artistic work, and elaborate corporate ephemera. Always unique. Exclusively ink. Fully tangible.
Via USPS "snail mail", meaning there is no tracking attached. If your dispatch is lost in the mail, we will send out another right away.
Yes.
All members have the opportunity to apply to have work and events promoted in the club, but we are limited on space and must be selective.
Based on the theme of the dispatch, on merit, on style, and on prior participation in the club. We prioritize work that supports the vision of the Corporation, has an IRL element, and is based in Los Angeles or New York.
Generally during the third week of every month. We keep you updated via e-mail on progress.
We only use free-and-open-source software such as GIMP and Scribus to design, LibreOffice and Trillium Notes to write, and make heavy use of the command line on Linux Mint machines. All concept and writing is original (no AI) and a result of 10+ years of skills in writing, graphic design, printmaking, business and world-building.
All dispatches are printed on the finest of paper (a rotation of what we find and fits the theme each month, with a mix of deadstock pre-9/11 material and newly purchased supplies) on a variety of inkjet printers and duplicators. All assembly (cutting, rounding, folding, packing) is done in-house and by hand. Minor anomalies should be expected.
The MystiCorp Web Experience™ is built and designed from scratch using exclusively free and open source software, .html, css and python. There are zero trackers, cookies, analytics or third-party integrations. It is hosted on a small VPS running on Linux. We use stripe as a payment processor (there's no way around it - we tried!), but it is sandboxed. Our estimate is that these parameters place it into less than 1% of the world wide web.
A reoccurring tri-fold pamphlet within the dispatch that features work from your colleagues within the club.
Los Angeles, the Southwest, and on the web. MystiCorp and all its creations are a result of the obsessive work of primarily two individuals - Nadiya Helm and B. Garrison Ambrose.
